Pipework Replacement

The client required a substantial length of pipework replacing. It was established that the pipework was in poor mechanical condition along its length due to material issues and the environment is which it was installed.

The expectation from the client was that major excavations would have to be undertaken to remove and replace pipework which would be extremely difficult to manage but, necessary nonetheless.

Unitspark reviewed the installation and requirements and proposed a solution that would remove the need for any excavations, keeping site disruption to an absolute minimum.

The pipework internal to the station was replaced with bespoke coated sections which gave a much better profile from a pumping system perspective whilst an external pipe run incorporating a bespoke set of supports ensured that the main site road did not have to be dug up saving both cost and huge inconvenience.
